One of the wonderful things about seafood is that it is an integral part of most of the world's great cuisines, either alone accounts is a celebration of the area of diet on the planet, or a component thereof.

We can say that pasta is one of the first things that comes to mind when someone brings Italian cuisine, and with good reason. There are legends that link this delicious mixture of flour and water historically others, including Chinese and Arabic, but independently took the Italians and formed their own.

Pasta is versatile: There are many forms and types, prepared in a number of ways, and much of it is quick and easy to prepare and serve.

My Penne with Salsa Rossa Gamberetti and is like eating in penne tossed in a good red sauce and topped with grilled shrimp and Italian cheese finely shaved first quality. Gamberetti is the Italian word for shrimp; Salsa Rossa translates literally as "red sauce."

For this dish, I like penne, which is a thin cylinder shaped short pasta (the Italian word for pencil or pen). There are nerves that run along the length of the mass of the same and the hollow center holds the pasta sauce, which is important in the dough in relation to the recipe, was served in the sauce.

We overcome this sauce for pasta with grilled because we love the taste and texture charred cover shrimp, but if you steam or boil and add the shrimp dish that you want.

Another trademark is a generous shaving of Parmigiano-Reggiano, an Italian cheese quality. Note - there is some controversy adding cheese on a fish dish in Italian cuisine. Traditionally it is not, but many modern recipes are not part of this type include.

I think it is a personal decision. Although I love Italian food, I'm not Italian, so I think it's easier for me to be in Team "Cheese". But if your family is the Old World, you may want to know how to feel Nana before addition.

In the spirit of Italian cuisine, served family style dish look - in a large bowl and order for the people to do as much or as little as they want to give use - instead of single sheet in shells.

Preparation

Prepare the sauce. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-medium heat. Onion and garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, vegetable broth, oregano, basil, thyme, salt and black pepper. Increase heat to medium-high and cook the sauce, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until hot and thickened, about 10-15 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer, while the rest of the dish is prepared.

Pasta noodles according to package directions. Apart.

Make shrimp. Preheat grill to high heat. Share shrimp into four groups of four shrimp; put shrimp on skewers each group near the tail of each shrimp and near the head. Brush each group of shrimp on both sides and place on the grill, cook 2-3 minutes chair, turning once. Shrimp should be opaque.

Make the court. Pasta in a large bowl, pour over the sauce, add the halved cherry tomatoes and mix well. Transfer the pasta is well covered four cups. Beginning of each part with equal amounts of torn basil and a skewer of grilled shrimp. Shave Parmigiano-Reggiano, and serve.

Note:

You have several options with shrimp skewers. Metal spikes are large heat pipes and can be washed and used again and again.

You can also use wooden skewers in many gourmet shops and grocery stores. If you use a wooden stick significant gross, you do not really need to immerse it on the grill in the water before throwing; If wooden skewers are thin, you can do consider. Anyway, wooden skewer easily be charred, which is completely normal.

I can do?

I pour:

My Penne with Salsa Rossa Gamberetti and is a great spot for brunch, lunch or dinner. For brunch or lunch, slightly reduce portion size; the recipe is a good party here.

A good crusty bread is a must serve this dish - you can grill the slices of Italian bread while preparing shrimp toast or roast in the oven. Brush the bread seasoned with a good olive oil before grilling or frying and easy with a little sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Some garlic bread into thick slices toast Texas would be well with this dish. Some pieces that people can enjoy all serve delicious red sauce left in the bottom of the pasta dish

Start the meal with a Caesar salad (make your own croutons with some Italian bread you have on hand to serve with noodles), which is thrown into a spicy delicious Caesar dressing, or maybe a simple green salad drizzled with a wine vinaigrette red.

Wine:

For a dish like this, I love a good classic Italian wine Nebbiolo, Sangiovese or Chianti. I think these are perfect with pasta with red sauce served vintages, and are almost always my go-to; Aroma medium bodied and full of fruit and a good pair.

Fish stock

There are a variety of shrimp available, and a number of sources and locations, including the Gulf of Mexico, the United States South Atlantic Ocean, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and Thailand.

Whatever shrimp you choose, make sure it is a better choice or good alternative in terms of sustainability. The Aquarium Seafood Watch program of the Monterey Bay is a wonderful resource for identifying fruits decisions reasonable and sustainable seafood, including shrimp.
